Enter your non-UAMS email or text messaging address to subscribe that address to the UAMS Student Emergency Notification Listserv, a message distribution list which will be used to alert UAMS students to circumstances on the UAMS campus which pose an imminent and serious threat. The list will NOT be used for non-emergency messages including notifications about class schedule changes or cancellations. The list will only be used to send emergency alerts. It is expected that alerts will very rarely, if ever, occur.

You can subscribe as many addresses as you wish to. If and when an alert is issued it will be sent to all addresses which you have subscribed. Alert messages will appear just as any other email or text messages you receive through the subscribed messaging addresses and you will incur whatever charges are assessed by the associated messaging service providers.

Do NOT subscribe your UAMS email address. Alerts will automatically be sent to your UAMS student email address.

All subscription requests must be approved by the listserv administrator. Upon approval of your subscription request a message will be issued to the subscribed address. While approval of requests should ordinarily be fairly prompt there may be periods (such as holidays) when approval of subscription requests is delayed a few days.
